When our kids start to talk about ideas and ask millions of questions a day, it can be overwhelming. Especially when we are loaded with chores and deadlines.
It’s easy to not pay attention to the expressions of their hearts and think that most are childish and meaningless.
Listen to them.
You are their world and your full attention when they are saying even the most ridiculous things will build who they are as a person. You are giving them the warmth of assurance and empowering them emotionally.
Be your children’s best friend. Believe me, you will learn a lot of things in the process, have a refresher course with your science and history and can turn moments into something magical but turning vulnerable times to lead them into His truths and love.
